Safe Closing Options

During this time and beyond, we encourage you to use our digital tools and other resources for the fastest access to your closing(s) and to discuss how we may be of assistance. eClosing via Remote Online Notarization (RON)

eClosings are conducted using at a virtual closing table via fully digital video technology, by us and an approved vendor who provides a portal and bank-grade authentication for security. The notary must also be licensed to place an electronic seal for the notarization. We invite the real estate agent and the lender to attend the closing and sit at the virtual table with their client. Commission checks will be delivered electronically.

If the transaction involves a lender, they will need to authorize the approval of this type of transaction. This closing method is not new, however many lenders are still not able to approve these transactions today. We will work with your lender to determine if your transaction can be approved for a RON closing. If the transaction is cash, no approvals other than the seller and/or the buyer are necessary; lets close it with RON!

A closing can also be split into a Hybrid closing, where the seller may conduct an eClosing and the buyer may sign by a paper and ink method.

Curbside Closings

These can be conducted at our office or if available we can send a notary to your home or office. We will provide the documents in advance for review and when the notary arrives, they will witness the signatory signing the documents from a safe distance and notarize in their car or the office upon their return. We ask that your identification be provided to us in advance in preparation for the closing. Documents that do not require notarization may be signed in advance of our notaries arrival.

In Person Traditional Closing

We offer traditional paper and ink closings at our corporate office. We ask that only one signatory be in the closing room at a time. Our office and closing room is sanitized twice per day and after any visitors for closings or deliveries. We provide hand sanitizer, a pen to take with you and a sneeze screen for further protection for all parties.

A fully executed copy of your documents will be provided to you in the Connect portal for your file, as well as available to you for many years to come.
